  1. Audible alert when a call come in to dispatch

    It would be nice for patrol units in the field to have an audible alert when a call comes in to dispatch (on the ready to dispatch screen). If your MDT screen is down, the alert would let you know there is a pending call on the board, and we could open the screen immediately to see whats coming in. An audible sound / animation would draw attention to those changes.

  2. Allowing verbal warnings for citations

    Would it be possible to allow violations to be added for a verbal warning? If we don't issue a written warning (our agency does not use them), it would be nice to be able to add what the individual was stopped for without having to type a narrative. That way we can pull statistics for each statute violated.

  4. Traffic Stop Status

    Submitted by Linda @ Madison County Sheriff's Office, MT:
    Just a suggestion. When you click a deputy on a traffic stop, it should automatically put them as arrived, not en route. When they call in the TS, they are there, not going to a traffic stop. Shouldn't have to update their status once they are on the stop until it is complete. Thanks.

  11. UCR Validation

    Is it possible for an officer to push a "check UCR" button that would validate to the patrol officer writing the report. Right now, only administrators can see whether or not it is valid to be accepted by UCR

  12. Would like to have CAD timers flash to show changes.

    One of the cases for CAD would be if an officer is called to a domestic we want to follow up with the officer after an amount of time is passed once they have arrived.

  13. Entering Offenses in Bookings

    When entering offenses for a booking, it requires an Offense Code, but does not automatically fill in the code when a statute is added (such as theft, burglary, etc). It will be very difficult and error-prone if we rely on our field officers to properly input the correct offense code which correlates with the proper statute. Since the statutes are already cross-linked with the offense codes in the statute table, it should automatically pull that information from the statute table.

  17. Traffic Stop Offenses

    When entering offenses for a traffic stop, it requires that the offense be coded as a misdemeanor or an infraction. In Montana law, there are some traffic laws which may be either a misdemeanor or a felony (for example DUI or criminal endangerment), depending on how many times the suspect has been arrested for an alcohol related offense in the past. The statute number is the same, but the offense may be coded as either a misdemeanor or a felony.

    It would be helpful if it didn't require the offenses to be coded as a misdemeanor or…

  18. Add Corrective Lenses to Glasses

    We need to add "Corrective Lenses" to the glasses section of people. We don't have information on drivers license returns that say whether they wear glasses or contact lenses, only that they have corrective lenses.
