Using the Quick Call Feature
To use the Quick Call feature:
- From either the Dispatch screen or the Calls screen, select Add New Call > Quick Call.
The Add a New Call window opens. - Complete the appropriate fields. For field descriptions, see the section below.
- Click Save to save the call. Otherwise, click Cancel. If a unit was selected in the Dispatch Primary Unit field, then the unit is dispatched when the call is saved.
Fields on the Add a New Call window
The Add a New Call window contains the following fields:- Initial Comment: Enter any notes about the call.
- Type: Select the type of call.
- Nature: Select the nature of the call.
- Dispatch Primary Unit: Select the unit to dispatch to the call.
- How Received: Select how the call was received.
