Using the Quick Call Feature

The Quick Call feature can be used to open the Add a New Call window and quickly add a new call.

To use the Quick Call feature:
  1. From either the Dispatch screen or the Calls screen, select Add New Call > Quick Call.
    The Add a New Call window opens.
  2. Complete the appropriate fields. For field descriptions, see the section below. 
  3. Click Save to save the call. Otherwise, click Cancel. If a unit was selected in the Dispatch Primary Unit field, then the unit is dispatched when the call is saved.

Fields on the Add a New Call window

The Add a New Call window contains the following fields:
  • Initial Comment: Enter any notes about the call.
  • Type: Select the type of call.
  • Nature: Select the nature of the call.
  • Dispatch Primary Unit: Select the unit to dispatch to the call.
  • How Received: Select how the call was received.
