Using Jail Billing Records

Use the Billing Records screen to view a list of the days inmates were housed, and for what agencies. This information can then be used to create invoices to track payments for housing inmates.

To open the Billing Records screen, from the menu bar, select Jail > Billing.

To search for Billing records:
  1. In the Filters area, enter your search criteria:
    — When Confined: Select the date when the inmates where confined. By default, this field uses the Dynamic date range level, so a common time period should be selected. For example, This Week. Other Date Range levels can be selected if needed. For more information, see the article "Searching Using Search Options."
    — Housed For: Select the agency for which the inmates were housed. Multiple agencies can be selected.
  2. Click Search. The Results area displays any matching Billing records. By default, the results are displayed by agency.
  3. To view a list of inmates housed for an agency, select that agency from the list. To return the the Agency list, click the Return to Agency List link.
  4. To view a list of Confinement records for the inmate, select the inmate from the Inmate list. To view the Inmate record, click the name link for the inmate, or select a Confinement record. To return to the Inmate list, click the Return to Inmate List link.
  5. To export a displayed list, select Actions Export. The list is exported as an .xls file.
