Using Visual Involvements

Visual involvements show a visual representation of the connections between records. Visual involvements are not available if the record does not have any involvements.

To view the visual involvements for a record:
  1. Open the desired record.
  2. Select ActionsVisual Involvements.
The Visual Involvements window opens. All records that are connected to the selected record are displayed, with lines showing the connections. In the upper-left corner, color-coded buttons identify the record types being displayed. Rest your mouse pointer on a button to see which record types are included for the color.
  3. To show or hide the records for a specific color, click the color button. When a button is dimmed, the records are hidden.
  4. To change the zoom level, click the Plus Sign (+) or the Minus Sign (-) button, or use the mouse wheel.
  5. To pan, drag the view.
  6. To show or hide the records involved with the records that are involved with the original record, select or clear the Show Second Level check box.
  7. To show or hide the relationships between records, select or clear the Show Relationships check box. Relationships are shown on the lines between records.
  8. To open a record from the Visual Involvements window, click the desired record name. A link appears. Click the link to open the record in a new tab.
  9. To change which record is the focus of the visual involvements, double-click the desired record. The selected record is moved to the middle of the window, and the view is updated.
  10. To close the Visual Involvements window, click the Exit icon.
