Release Notes for August 2021
CAD Unit Status Filter
- A filter has been added to CAD, allowing dispatchers to cull a "dispatch" drop-down to only show Units in a particular status - On Duty, Off Duty, Busy, etc.
- This filter is multi-select, so the dispatcher can choose to see any combination of statuses.
- The filter is indicated by a filter icon next to each dispatch unit field on CAD.
- A Place search field has been added to Call History, Calls for Service, Traffic Stops, and Incidents list pages.
- This field will search those records for a place, rather than just an address.
- If you have multiple places at a single address, you can now use the Place search field to search for the specific place rather than being limited to searching for all places at that address.
Misc. Fixes and Changes
- Resolved a visual issue with the Clery Hate Crimes section. This section populates based on the Bias Motivation selected on the associated Incidents, but the order the user selected the various bias motivations mattered for the Clery Hate Crimes section; instead of grouping those Hate Crimes together, the software kept them separate. This has been resolved with the latest release. Note that the total count of Hate Crimes has not changed - this is a visual, readability change only.
