Release Notes for June 2020

The June 2020 release of the software contains the following notable features and fixes:

Additional Required Fields
  • Certain fields can now be made required, by request. Please note that these fields will not be required by default, so nothing will change automatically. Also note that all current required fields are still required, and cannot be made not required.
  • This is a change that applies to your entire Ally instance, and cannot be customized on a per-User level.
  • If you would like to make these fields required, please contact support.

Misc. Fixes and Changes
  • For Alarms sent to Ally from Avigilon ACC, the Alarm Name is now populated into the Call Location Notes field when the alarm is converted to a dispatchable call.
  • To better serve the Alarm Name in the Call Location Notes field of the Call, a Location Notes search filter has been added to the Call List page. This functions the same as the Location Notes field on Calls for Service and Incidents.
  • Resolved an issue where the How Received field on Calls for Service and Incidents defaulted to telephone no matter the order of the How Received Code Table. Now the top item in the Code Table will be used as the default selection on the field.
